Xapt3r stays on even if XBox v1.6 is off

Hi,

a friend tried to install an X3CE with Xapt3r on a v1.6. The process did not turn out that obvious, since we could not find a manual explicitely thought for that combination. The problem is that the chip does not turn on (the X logo stays red) and that the Xapt3r's 4 leds lit up right at the moment you plug the console, even if you dd not turn it on yet, and stay there forever, until you pull the plug of the Xbox.

We did solder the LPC rebuild module, but we are not precisely the best at it, so it might be that some of its solder is not making proper contact. Might be whatever other thing which we did not think about.

Once of the doubts when installing it was wht to do with two d0: the one in the LPC rebuild module and the one on the other side which the Xapt3r's golden wire connects to. We only connected the Xapt3r's one, since nowhere I found anybody talking about 2 d0.

Any help, of course, would be very appreciated.

Well... I'm not a genious about Xapter... but there is no 1.6 Version..... Which is probably why... it's not working so well? If you can solder... and you soldered the rebuild, Just do a full solder of it... 1.6 isnt compatible.

Indeed that's it.
Xapt3r is incompatible with 1.6b.
Even on 1.6 with the LPC rebuild you have to remove the pin 6 and use an alternate 5V power. It' all in the tutorials. Xapt3r is only for the 1.0-1.5 range of XBOXs
