well the problem is i have a v1 box n theres solder in the lpc ports n i dnt wanna have to get rid of it is there a way around it?

it should still work, you'll just have to line it up correctly.

so the little cone shaped prongs on bottom go on the DO or lpc spot?

The cone shaped pins go on the LPC, the wire goes to the D0 point. The tutorial is essentially identical to that link I gave you in a previous post.

if i dont play games through HMEBRW will i get banned?

Hi all!

I'm thinking of jtagging my xbox, but i have a few concerns..

Firstly, correct me if i'm wrong, once you have jtagged your xbox it enables you to play homebrew? Is that correct? If so, would i be able to play on XBL if i wasn't using the homebrew dashboard to access my online games through a USB HDD, or am i still likely to get banned?

if you jtag the xbox - you will be banned if you go on live.
