Xapt3r! where the hell is it????

whats up with the xapt3r, why aint they in stores yet, im sure i read on this very website that they were being shipped off to retailers, yet the lcds and pro ship (which were posted after the xapt3r post) are in stores everywhere.

please fill me in, and possibly when they will be in stores

latest new stated that it was Ready for release, but no ETA or Time Frame has yet been gievn, I also don't know if it's gone into pull swing production yet, remember no1 pulls these out their arse, so you'll just have 2 wait as I don't think it's comin out b4 christmas, I don't care either cause I can Solder and already did, just waiting for the X3CP now

Yeah, it's posted on system-mods, but if you click on it, and look closer, it says "coming soon".
So it seems to be pre-order only.

ive had to ship X3 a new design X2.6CE the pro switch the x3lcd and the crystal pro switch.

and in that time we had to rls a new bios for v1.6b

as you can see we have been lazy :roll:

Xapt3r will ship when we say so on the news page - wont be for another week yet

I think most people mistook "Xapt3r Released & Other add-ons news" as being a released to resellers. I made this mistake myself especially since some resellers are listing them on thier sites without the pre-order status.

I originally planned on getting the Xapt3r for the install of my X3 chip.

So...I thought I would wait and just get the X3 chip, the XLCD and the Pro Switch just to have on hand and wait for install until I got the Xapt3r.

Welll....having that chip just sitting around was too tempting

I have not done a solder install of any chip yet. (I stick with the no solder methods). I figured what the hell...why not try...and beside...I got a spare Xbox in case I f**k up

Well the install was super easy. I opted for the wire install. I have a version 1.0 Xbox. So the LPC points are filled. I just line up the wires...heated the solder that was already there and set the wires.... Piece of cake. The D0 spot had me worried it was tiny. But I took my time tinned the wire and the first shot got it. First time I booted I got a frag. But after checking the wires one had shook loose. I resoldered it...taped everything down and BAM she worked!!!

Super easy chip to install....If you cannot wait try the solder method.

What is the Xapt3r gonna do that other solderless chips now do not? I have a 1.6 and I am waiting for a solderless solution...Will this be it? Will I still need to solder for the 1.6 LPC Rebuild?

Can any1 help me plz, i have a flashed unbanned 360 which just got rrod. im gonna buy a new unflashed console, what i want to know is will using the harddrive from the flashed one cause the new unflashed console to be banned at some point.i have already used the harddrive on a console which got banned before the latest one which broke.

When did you get banned mate?
I dont think it will cause your console to get banned again,
just make sure you use the latest stealth on your games. then they should last a while.
