ok f**k the xapt3r. not workin ill just solder. should have done it the first time. im thinkin of doin the wire install cuz it seems to be more "trust" worthy. does any body have a link on wire install?
thanks for all the help

Bryan pin header install of the X3 is by far the best solutions, and is very "trust worthy". I only suggested wire install because your using an old box with solder already in the LPC port I find wire install to be the fastest solutions for Xboxes of that type. Hell you can do a wire install in a matter of minutes top side without even taking out the motherboard, however remember the best solutions for soldering D0 is always the bottom side so motherboard needs to be removed anyways.

For wire install try:

if you cant fit the xapt3r - give up.

honestly

we have tried to dumb this down as much as possible - however the more you dumb it down the more dumber the install(er) seems to get.

i think our next mod will include an oom-pa-loom-pa from willy wonkas chocolate factory to fot the mod for you and he will self destruct once everything is working.

That has GOT to be the best damn response I have ever seen!!! LMFAO!!

Maybe I am just one of the lucky ones (or maybe one with an IQ higher than that of a carrot), but have used two Xecuter products the X2.3lite and the X3 with Xapt3r solderless and have never had an install problem. In fact, I didn't have to unsolder the the LPC points on my v1.1 box. I simply installed the Xapt3r as directed and placed the X3 on and...voila!! Instant Mod!!

Thanks guys for making such great products...and PLEASE don't dumb it down any further. As someone posted in another forum...if you f**k up a solderless install, you should just keep the lid closed on your Xbox...

Hey Xecuter I don't think your plan will work. The oom-pa-loom-pa's union doesen't allow them to do work outside of the Wonka & Co. Factory.

Already banned

My 360 has already been banned, but I still want to get kinnect for offline use. If I update the dashboard for kinnect, will i still be able to play my backups? Xbox live is not an issue for me, I have a non-modded box for online play. Thanks.

Re: Already banned

Can't see why u wouldn't be able to play on a banned console. Setup for it's online functions are optional. So I say it should nt make a difference if you're banned or not
