Hey guys ok I know that the xapt3r will not work with the v1.6 Xbox but I was wondering why it doesn’t work with it, and if there is any modification I can make in the mean time so that I do not have to wait for Team X to make one, I know your working hard on it guys but I am lazy and cant wait

The xapt3r does work with the 1.6 xbox but its pointless to install because you have to do the rebuild anyway. Search the forums theres plenty of threads on this topic.

i dont reccomend the xapt3r, i think its a waste of time. its not good to put more than you need inside. just do the soldering, no need for wires just use the rebuild kit. i have a version 1.6 and it works fine like that.

Seriously. The soldering is very basic and totaly easy. There is no point in solderless because you are voiding your warranty either way. Plus if you ever move your xbox you most likely are going to unallign the chip and have to open the box and fix it. Soldering is much less of a hassel and much more efficient.
