Just wondering when a v1.6 is going to be released? A rough estimate, dont worry we wont hold you to any dates. My mates have a v1 and v2 and have installed the mod chipes on the xapter, Im just feeling left behind. And no, I dont want to solder the mod chip instead.

same here, i can't decide whether to wait for the solderless 1.6 solution or just go with a spider chip, i'm unfortunately very new at this, can someone explain the benefits of the X3? everywhere says its great and thats why i've waited till now but i'm not sure if i should just go for a spiderchip as its available now. can someone offer some advice please? much appreciated

the 1.6 Xapt3r will be out when it's ready, you will get an update when Xecuter feels like giving one.

I really hope this when will it be out stuff stops, but then some new item is announced (no probs there) and the posts go to "when will x be out"

P.S. if you wan to know why the X3 is better then the Spider chip just check out the feature page.

I suppose the easiest way to stop the "when will it be out stuff stops" is to not announce new products.

Not wanting to cause a flame war to start, but if it really bothers you my post ... then dont reply to it. My question I believe is valid, and in no way was I trying to work anybody up.

Anyway, that all a side I cant wait to be a part of the community... just the v1.6 is holding me back ... I know I could solder, but these tree trunk shaking fingers wouldnt do a good job.
