Reading over the details about the new Xapt3r i noticed "We have also produced a similar solution for the v1.6 which will blow any other design out of the water." I was wondering if they are talking about a new solderless adapter for the 1.6 boxes?

This person right here has an 8955 dashboard and is running xex bootloader whats up with that? My thoughts are its fake but if its ligit than that could be useful.

Looks pretty real imo, but isnt it basically imposible to do it?

Title says xbox rebooter, that is a hacked 8955 kernal.

video is real but he got his key then flashed XBR nothing new here I'm afraid.

I read somewhere that it didn't matter what version you had if you had the right tools.

I need to find out because I got 2 "unexploitable" boxes

You need the CPU key but you can only get if you have a xbox lower than 8955

Even then with the CPU key, the efuses are burnt and there is no way around it.

I thought if you had the key you could still jtag it and blowing the fuses just stopped you from getting the key.

I found a tutorial going with this video telling you how to unban a consol by changing the cpu key and all the other information needed to go online.

i dont know if anybody can try it and see if its possible. I dont know how many people are interested in doing so.

Yes its possible, its been possible for a LONG time now.

However its not practical as you need to the CPU key from another console which is unbanned but using this key leaves the other (perfectly working) console useless, so its kind of pointless.
