Xapter Broke

So I was a doosh last night and was trying to get the wire into the d0 point on my mobo. Well I guess I was pushing too hard and broke the wire. I was reading around and saw that I can try to solder from where the wire was to the d0 point on the back of the mobo.

Is this the case and if so is there any guides out there on how to do this.

Just wanted to mention I have the Xecuter 2.6 CE chip and a version 1.0 xbox.

and was wondering if I can just solder the d0 cable from the chip to the alt port on the back with the xapter instead of doing the pin install

Yes, you should be fine. Although, that is the hardest point, so if you are going to solder that, you may as well do a wire install.
