Xapter Question

I recently received the Xapter 1.0-1.5 solderless kit. In it, there was the Xapter along with a silver packet with some really small metal parts in it. I installed the Xapter without using them, but does anyone know what they are used for?

My guess is they are the parts that go into the holes in the LPC bus to help the pins on the adaptor make contact. But, without a picture I'm not positive.

yes go into holes but not allways needed
use a pin to put them in put part on pin hold up to the head of pin place pin in hole them release part move pin till it falls into hole
