Have searched this forum and most of google also without finding the answer i'm looking for, so i hope someone here can help

I have 3 Xenon xbox and one of them have jtag
When i take my 20 GB org hdd and connect it to the 2 ones that dosen't have jtag i have no problem playing old Xbox games from original disc.

But when i connect it to the jtag console (running freeboot 0.32, nand file made with jtag tool 1.74 xb1 compatibel) and will start an old Xbox game i just get the white screen whit the big X and Xbox sign and nothing more happens, even when i replace the files on partition 2 whit the xb1 hacked emulator the same happens

everything else on the jtag console seems to work just not playing old xbox games

anyone have an explanation on that problem ?

Hi at all

I have excatly the same problem with freeboot 0.032. as Hackerjac wrote.

First of all here my setup:
- Falcon Motherboard
- Team Xecuter Nand-X
- 60 GB MS HDD
- freeboot 0.032 / 9199 Dashboard Version
- Xexmenu 1.1
- 2 TB external HDD

I used Jtag Tool 1.74 to create the freeboot 0.032 bin-File (xbox1 emu compatibility selected). Everytime I start the default.xbe the big X shown up, but the Xbox360 freeze. I replaced the xbox1 emu with the hacked one, but still the same.

After my first tests I created the freeboot 0.032 bin-File again with freeBoot ToolBox Maker 2.4 (with Dashlaunch patches 1.0 on Nand). Now when I start the default.xbe the big X shown again, but the Xbox360 make a hard reset and starts again. The Xbox1 games are on a external 2TB HDD.

The last test was to create with iso2god and god2xbox1 a dlc witch I successfully copied to the content folder of the 60 GB MS HDD. But when I start the Xbox1 game with NXE the Xbox360 makes also a hard reset. The hacked Xbox1 emu don't solve the problem.

All the games worked correctly before the jtag modification. I played the games (DVD9) on the LT 1.1 drive and the standard MS Xbox1 emu.

Hope someone knows the solution and can help me.

What patches did you select for FreeBOOT? Remember, you can either opt for XB1 compatibility or mem editing (patches).

Try with a retail BC Xbox1 game first to make sure all is ok.

Okay first of all: yes I used the Xbox1 emu compatibility for FreeBOOT.
The bin-File was created with Jtag Tool 1.74 and for the second try was build with freeBoot ToolBox Maker 2.4 (with Dashlaunch patches 1.0 on Nand).

The tested games are Mortal Kombat: Deception and Max Paye 1.
Both games are one the back compatibility list. And worked perfectly on the same xbox 360 before the jtag modification (LT 1.1 drive DVD9).

I'm the opinion freeboot 0.032 on dashboard version 9199 has a problem with the xbox1 emu. Most posts about jtag xbox 360 and xbox1 emu refered to xbr3 on dashboard version 8955.

Maybee the xbox1 emu will only work with xbr?

Is a downgrade from freeboot 0.032 to xbr3 possible?

their is no downgrade but you can simply take xbr3 and inject your kv and config.bin into it an write it to your console
also might want to check your hard drive make sure it has the compatibility file on partition 2 3

On partition 2 (HDDX) I have replaced the compatibility folder with the one of the hacked xbox1 emu. Here the link to the TUT: http://www.se7ensins.com/forums/topic/175771-hacked-xbox1-emulator-files-for-jtag-360s/

But the xbox 360 still restarts as soon as I start the default.xbe with xexmenu 1.1.
Freestyle Dash has the same problem.

What about the partition 3? Is this the one who is called flash by xexmenu 1.1?
I haven't modified it.

Thanks a lot for quick reply!

i have the same problem. It must be a problem of the nand\freeboot because if i take the hd of a "normal" 360 with the working official emulator and i put it on my jtagged 360 the emulator continue to freeze on the xbox logo.

i have done some more testing now that i got another xenon i could jtag

First i tried the Original xb1 game (Quantum Redshift) on the unmodified console (dash 7371), it worked

Then i jtagged the console and installed freeboot 0,32 using jtagtool 1.74 with xb1 compatibility, game doesn't work, freeze on the white screen with the big loge

Then i installed xbr 8955_3, the game works here

so my conclution is there must be something wrong with the freeboot 0.32
hope they can fix it in future updates curse i really love the jtag options it gives

Good news Hackerjac! :D

I'll get your solution a try and hopefully my xb1 emu will work again.
Do you use the standard MS xb1 emu ore the hacked xb1 emu?

Thanks for your big help.

- Rebuild freeboot 0.032 with Jtag Tool 1.74
- option "mem editing" selected
- hacked xb1 emu on partitioin 2
- start default.xbe on external HDD with xexmenu 1.1

Thanks Hackerjac, you saved my day!

I'm told jtag tool has a bug with xbox1 emu in that it's the wrong way around. Select mem editing and try again
