Question - I tried out XBC 2.4, and it made the ISO image of Smackdown Vs. Raw just fine. However, when I asked it to burn in the XBC burn engine, the software stalled out and pretty much froze up. I'm using an older Lite-On DL burner, but I made the back up using a Kreon Sammy. Any ideas as to why it would've stalled out? I'm a bit wary of making more coasters... :? Should I maybe have it use Nero as the burn engine instead of the standard XBC burning engine?

No problems here, I used 2.4 to rip and burn a backup using the XBC burn engine last night. I'm not sure if it makes a difference but I used the full install instead of the standalone exe.
I prefer ImgBurn. I know some who have used XBC with no issues, and others who had issues that didn't show up when using CloneCD / ImgBurn.
I like ImageBurn also. Very slick and I haven't toasted not one DVD yet (knoock on wood). I even use ImageBurn to burn the newer Star Trek Legacy "type" games too. Have yet to try out v2.4 yet myself.

It seems like with a combo of different ways of burning, I've found a groove. I'll rip the original game with XBC, but I'll use IMGBurn or even Clone CD to make the backup. I guess everyone sort of needs to go with what works best for them
BTW - Textbook - My box should be here soon (whenever UPS rolls around to my neighborhood). I'm definately going to post my very positive experience 8)
