so ive been getting alot of dvd errors when trying to rip my back ups with xbc v.2.9 and was wondering if i need to update the 0800 fw on my lite-on ihas 124b dvd drive or something btw im trying to back up my copy of sleeping dogs and everytime i try to back it up it rips to about 49.7% and then a dvd error message pops up and now i dont know what to do somebody please help

Correct me if im wrong, But im almost positive the Liteon 124B you have can only burn disks, You'll need a liteon or Benq From an Xbox to Read the Disks.
Sounds like its screwing up right there at the layer break. I'll double check this and get back to ya.

thanks for the reply! and no ive ripped lots of my backups with this particular drive before. heres one error i get:
DVD Read Error
A read error has occurred outside of the file system data area. On a Xbox 360 this can cause a boot error that will result in an incomplete
backup.
Partition Offset LBA: 459728
Overall Offset LBA: 476368
Name: Unreferenced Data
and the other error i get says something about not being able to read the audio on the game
