XBOX Live 12 Month Gold memberhsips are currently on sale for $39.95. You can get it in either a download code (available right away) or via the membership card. It's a good way to save some money if you buy a couple for next year, etc. I bought one online code version and 3 cards for the next 3 years. I already activated the online code and it worked fine. Quantities are limited.

Yes, I called MS and spoke to XBL support and they confirmed you can stack up to 3 years. I confirmed entering two codes and it extended the membership (no overlap).
