XBL dilema

At the beginning of this year I got my first Xbox and XBL subscription The first time I logged noto XBL was w/ my box un-modded. I then got a X2.3B Lite, upgraded my HDD and went on XBL w / the upgraded HDD. About 2 weeks before Halo 2 when M$ announced the upgraded security, I got a new Xbox. Here's my question; I want to go on XBL with my modded Xbox, should I use my original HDD or can I use my upgraded HDD? When did they log my HDD key?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

well if you loged into xbl with an unmoded xbox then it copyd your hardrive key then so if you wona go back on with out being banned with your new hardrive then just load configmagic on your xbox unlock the hardrive change the hardrive key to to your old one and then lock it again and there ya go no worries

This is going to be real cool tool to use.
all kinds of use could come out of it and for a 150$.
M$ is going to hella pissed off. serves them right the new dashboard it ugly anyways.
