XBL Problem after X3 installation

I just installed my X3 with Xapter adapter into my xbox and flashed the BIOS according to the teamx's website. Everything was fine and I could play burned games. When I first tried to go online (with the chip off), I had to reconfigure the IP address setting to automatic instead of manual and then I was happily playing my halo 2 on XBL.

After I shut down the xbox for maybe 10 hours or so...I played a burned game on there for some time, and everything was working fine, until I turned my chp off and tried to log in to XBL. The message on my TV says "Xbox Live Not Found". I tried rebooting, resetting the chip to default settings etc... and I even called up Microsoft to make sure my account wasn't banned or anything like that.

Curious, I opened my XBOX and took out the chip and the adapter, and the little board connected to the power button, and tried connecting XBL again, and it still gave me the same message. I don't understand what is wrong with it...I did everything the site told me to do. (I did make a mistake on flashing the BIOS at first, but used another bank afterwards)

Can anyone help me with this problem? I would really like to be able to play XBL with my original games and still be able to have my mod chip for other games.

did you even bother trying to troubleshooot your connection??? And calling xbl support was stupid if you wanted to know if you were banned. Just hope they don't ban you for asking because it is against the compact you made with m$ when you signed up for xbl.

lets say he didnt get a new account after puting the HDD and The Chip in what would he have to do to get back on XBL

My account is not banned...I called M$ just to be sure...and no, I had the account before I had the Chip installed. I don't think I have any networking issues either...it was fine last night...and I didn't do anything after that, but this morning it woudln't work.

Ok...what is EEPROM? What should I do with my xbox?

well i got a banned cause i had a account pre chip and then swapped the HDD and i got banned.. so i need a new EEProm... Where to get those?

What is EEProm? and is that going to solve my problem? like i said, even when I took out the chip and everything else that came with it, I still could not connect to XBL...It still told me that my xbox has been modified and that is the reason why it cannot connect to XBL.

If you got that message then yes you are banned from xbl.

like in sed in the PM i sent you. Buy a EEPROM off the net or get one from a friend and then you will need to get a new hard drive and this would also be your chance to upgrade. check the forums out at www.xbox-scene.com and you can find tut's there on how to install an eeprom. Also in the buy and sell forums there you can get one for around 6-10 dollars (US).
