XBL safe after RGH for key retrieval?

Hi guys,
Just picked up a new xbox to replace the old, and I need to do a RGH to get the DVD key.

I don't want to install any additional software or flash any firmwares after, I just want to grab the key and then put the xbox back to stock (for now).

Will I be safe to go on xbox live after performing a RGH?

My apologies if this has been covered before.

If the console is not banned, it will work fine on XBOX Live once you flash the drive with the correct drive key.
