I have just installed my new XBCP w/ LCD on my 1.0 Xbox and turned on the LCD support in the X3 Live Bios. The problem I am having is in XBMC. I go into the settings and set the LCD to on and then change the LCD to Xecuter3 LCD and all works like it should. After I exit out of XBMC and go back in the LCD does not work ..so I go into settings under LCD and take a look. The LCD support is still turned on but the LCD is not set to Xecuter3 LCD….does anyone know why this will not be saved. The version of my BIOS is 2914 and XBMC is 2005-02-01. THANKS

this is because you are running an older version of xbmc, if you download a newer build the problem will be fixed.

it must be a bug that was introduced then, cuz my xlcd worked fine with one of the late january releases.

So I'm guessing that's not the cause.
I've used XBMC, but haven't had much problem with this - the people over at the XBMC forums would probably be able to give you a better or more specific solution.
Only things I can suggest - check your XML file (i'm not even sure if that's where that data is stored). Or, as sort of a housekeeping process, delete your entire xbmc folder, and install only the latest version. I get pretty lazy, and just drop the new stuff on top sometimes, which has lead to problems in the past.

That build is not out yet....I think that some of the minor bugs will be fixed with that one.... I had a slightly different issue with my LCD screen as well. I would enable it in my x3CL and it still wouldn't come on?? The thing that gets me is that when I played with the brighness setting in CL it poped on?!!!!! It has stayed on ever scince then.... I have no clue why this is the case, but maybe it will help???
Mine is working fine, I beleive that I just selected LCD however. It is very nice that it displays the song, movie file, or channel that you are watching/hearing. Very slick. Can not wait for avalaunch to support it.
