Ok, so I have a PC running Windows Longhorn Beta 1 (will be named Windows Vista), and a X3 Xbox. I also have another PC running XP SP2, and another X3 Xbox (roommates). His PC (XP) has a share for videos and music, it is a SMB share in XBMC. I setup a share on my Longhorn PC, and tried to make it a SMB share in XBMC. No matter what I do, I cannot seem to authenticate to the Longhorn share from either XBOX, but both can reach the XP PC. I have ruled out the builtin firewall, username, password, and permissions.... WTF am I missing? XBMC just keeps asking for username/password when I try to connect to the SMB share.
