Xbox 1.0 and Xexcuter 2.6 CE

I modded another Xbox 1.0 w/ a 2.6 CE chip, flashed chip, swapped hdds and went to lock the hdd w/ configfile, Xbox Locked up. Turned off Xbox and flashbios screen comes up. Flashed chip w/ 5032 and it will flash but always boot to Flash Bios screen. I did lock the hdd w/ F;ashbios. Still will not boot anymore w/ chip on only Flash bios. I even tried to flash the bios w/ my Xbox programmer. What is wrong?

Sounds like a faulty switch. Try holding the switch in the bank 1 position and boot from there.

Thanks Martin. The switch is DOA. I just used my switch and it is working great..

Martin, Thank you for the quick reply but another question, What happens to the switch, if one of the switches are flipped w/ power on? Can that cause a problem as well?

Not at all - you should be able to move all switches while the unit is on.

Thank you, Martin. That is usefull information. This is the reason why I prefer/recommned Team Xecuter for all Xbox Mods.
