xbox 1.0 with x3 restarting, but not a frag?

weird - sometimes the thing works, but when i went to restart it after flipping two memory banks on so i could flash, it flashed green and turned off after a few restarts (the x3 switch lights up red and my hdd led is bright blue)

a little unsure as to why this is happening, anyone have an idea

ive got a feeling this is the xapt3r D0 pin shorting the wires of one of the chips on the x3 ---- i hear a ticking, just like something is being shorted

this only happens if my mochip is totally flat (hence, probably in contact with the D0 wire from the xapt3r) . If i stand the x3 on a slant so that it purposely does not touch the D0 it seems not to have any issues.

First noticed the problem when i placed my hdd and dvd back into the xbox - my dvd drive must have pushed the mod chip down and made it contact with the x3...

going to try to make that D0 pin flat now

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and new LT+ 1.1

Hi guys,
I'm new in the forum and I would to thanks everybody for thousand of useful information I found in this board. Great.
Now I'm here to submit a question to you. I flashed my drive with LT+ firmware and my backup copy of Assassin's patched with abgx worked fine. Then I've updated my drive with the new LT+ 1.1 and Assassin's do not work!!! The disc is the same, the drive is the same, the console is the same. I changed only firmware. Other games, with no AP2.5, still works fine.
Have you some suggestions?

very strange - i would reflash it with LT+ 1.1 again.
are you sure you didnt flash it with LT v1.1 instead of LT PLUS v 1.1?

Oh sh*t!!!! I'm just cheking on xbins and I notice that I've downloaded LT 1.1 and not LT+ 1.1
I'm a stupid!

The real problem is that my drive is a 8x v2. So I have to re-cut the traces to re-flash it. Is it right?

no - if you have the OFW or dummy.bin just load as source, auto load 1.1 (LT+) using jf 1.77
then liteon erase and write!

OR

If you just used Jungleflasher to flash it! (on same pc)
then connect drive and ensure it shows on the port then press "Dummy from Keydb"

it should auto create your fw from the Key Database.

REMEMBER to use JF 1.77 and have the LT+ fw files in the firmware folder within Jungleflasher directory.
