Xbox 1.0 x2.6ce problem

i installed the x2.6ce in my friends 1.0 xbox and i get no video or sound from what i can tell. if i disable the chip on the switch and press the power button it turns on for like a seconds and shutsdown if i hit the eject button with the mod chip off it blinks orange and red.

plz help

actually when the mod is on or off it will turn on and shut down regardless of the button pressed often with a single beep noise coming from the console and pressing the eject button yeilds a flashing green light

ok was it a solderless install if so recheck that its installed 100%
if solded in check your soldering as well for solder splashs and a bad trace if getting frag with chip off or on look for solder were it not meant to be

what happened is my roommate attempted a solderless install and it had the same problems so i soldered on the pin header. could the problem possibly be related to one of the vias on the pin header the looked a little rough after the desoldering braid?

as above check your soldering use a volt meter to check you are geting right voltage but your prolbem is a bad solder point or lift trace
