xbox 1.4 with 2.6ce and xapter - just wont work. plz help

ok i've tried just about everything and i even hunted down the number for the warehouse/distributer of xecuter australia and got phone tech support after waiting on the phone for about half an hour. my problem is that nothing happens when i attempt to install the chip on the xapter. as soon as i release the pressure it pops back out. not that it was ever in because all i got while applying pressure and power cycling the box was the microsoft service error message coming up(error 07). i then thought maybe i broke my box so i went back to scratch and it all worked like a perfect new xbox. i then tried the little connectors to see if that would help - same problem. this xapter seems like its a pretty shoddy idea coz it wont sit but as i can see with a glance over the forums it must work.

ok my question now
the only thing i have left is the fact that the xapter has 11pins and the xecuter 2.6ce has 15holes. how does it go in?

Couple of questions to ask you:
1. What version of xbox do you have?
2. I tried to contact xecuter australia before also but just could not. Their phone number is no where to be found and they don't respond to emails. In the case that you've recieved faulty parts from them, I have no idea where to send the parts back since it's not published on their web site. Seemed to me like you're playing russian rulette with them.
3. There is a tutorial on xecuter web site. it is:
