Xbox 1.6 or 1.6b with no picture, chip control panel look OK

I see Flashbios have an update with picture problem at 1.6b xbox. Im not sure I have a 1.6b or 1.6. Manefactured 2004-09-06.

My X3 looks to work fine at the X3-control panel. But I dont have any picture. When booting normal the X3-control panel turn blue, and xbox light green a couple of sec. then the xbox light turn red. And I have no picture at all (x3 panel still blue).

If I press the on/off button for 2 sec, the x3-control panel turn RED, and xbox boot like it is no chip installed.

If I press both buttons (on/off and eject), then I get a purple light in X3-control panel, but no picture. Xbox light turns red or orange after some seconds.

Is this a problem with Flashbios? or is it bad installation of the chip?

It looks like you have a 1.6b like me and some others. No solution has been offered that i can find other than flashing on an earlier modded machine, which is of no use to me. Am hoping someone from Admin will at least tell us what is going on. And also if there is a practical solution?

spoofing hitachi 47 as liteon 7

just wondering if theres any chances of getting flagged etc by replacing my hitachi 47 with a liteon 7 series i got hold of today, i will be flashing it to LT in a couple of mins, just need to dump my hitachi key first.

i've spoofed it fine and flashed the drive but its only playing originals and not back ups, is this what you meant by it doesnt support it, that it doesnt play back ups because originals seem to be working fine, just not the back ups

forget that, it was just a bad disc mixed with the fact this liteon laser has seen better days, loaded 2 other back ups of tekken 6 and nba2k10 fine, do you think this should be fine to go online with?
