xbox 1.6 wont load bios

ok i installed an exicuter 2.6 in my xbox and flashed it with a bios but now when i try and start the xbox with the mod chip on it trys to start 3 times then the light turns red and does nothing. iget no audio or video either. im not sure what the problem is could it be a bad bios. i have used it on other 2.6 mod chips before. also with the mod chip on it boots fine to the microsoft dashboard

one, you posted this in the wrong forum. Two what bios version did you use? For xbox v1.6, you need to use Evox m8plus 16 bios.

I dont know why you would use the evox bios, boot up your backup rom or set the switch to off on off off off should bring up the flashbios (then set your switch back to on on off off off) and flash the x3 2913 bios 1.6plus version......thats most likely your problem.

read his post again, BigBossman, he has an XECUTER 2.6. Recommending him to do what you just suggested will render his chip useless and will require a programmer to remedy flashing an Xecuter 2.6 with an X3 bios.
