xbox 1.6 x3 mod - cant get x3 bios display

After modding my xbox I tried to boot the (quick boot) x3 bios and i get a blank screen. The x3 display is blue and the tray eject light is flashing upon quick boot.

The xbox works normally with msft bios, regular boot bios.

What should I do next ??

Have you flashed with the X3 bios yet?

So basically you haven't even seen the flashbios screen yet?

Well try all the switch bank settings until you find flashbios 3.03 on your X3, once you find that then you can proceed with the X3 bios flash

Yes that is correct ... I havn't seen the bios screen.

So I go through all 16 iterations starting from 1 and ending with 15 or is there some other way ?

Perhaps I missed something in the instructions ?

You have to go through them all one at a time.

Have you tried the backup bios (Pressing power and eject at the same time)?

For each combination: was the xbox off, the switches then set, then xbox powered on?

Are you sure the chip is installed correctly?

not all chips are sold with flashbios 3.03 installed you would be best speaking to reseller of the chip or if you know someone with an X3 in there xbox get them to flash the flashbios with 3.03 and then fit it back in your xbox

If this is the case, what does one do if they don't have an extra xbox with an x3 in it?

I've got the same problem with my X3 in a 1.6b xbox. I just received it a couple of weeks ago. I installed it during the holidays and no video. I guess my X3 came with bios 3.0.1

I've seen this in the X3 features:

"USB Programming Controller (Perfect if your flash is damaged and for easy Windows config of app)"

How can I flash my X3 with USB???

I take it the only solution is to try and return your chip to your reseller and get one with correct bios?

I've had the same problems with my x3 and new holiday xbox. I've modded a v1.6 successfully the night before trying the one that comes with the two games of topspin and ncaa 2005 football and have tried two xboxes like it. I get nothing but the blue light on the front of the x3.
You don't need to have a bank selected in order for the x3 bios screen to show up if it is preinstalled on the chip. Mine were preinstalled, but i think the LPC rebuild is not compatible with the holiday xbox. I also read that on Xbox scene from another forum.
Is your xbox one of the ones with those two games and appears to be a v1.6?

Yes mine is one of those holiday XBox's.
I got a response from my reseller and they said to get the bios on the chip you would either need a programmer, a second
xbox to hotswap it with or do the softmod to your xbox as outlined here;
