Xbox 1 and playing burnt games

I i know about hacking the firmware for te xbox360 dvdrom to play brunt games
but i was wondering is it possible to do the saem to xbox 1 dvd rom or u have to buy a MODchip

There is a firmware hack for xbox1 but it isnt worth your time. When the system is fully hacked, you are much better off getting a modchip, flashing the tsop (v1.0-1.5), or using a softmod (ewww).

well cna u tel me what the firmware hack does for the xbox one and if the firmware hack can play burnt games that all i want in any case and second think if the firmware hack does play burnt games can u tell me some how to get a tutorial to do it

The firmware hack for xbox1 is the same as the 360, with less support. It is where the hackers started and then progressed to the 360 firmwares. There are no tutorials on this, and very little information. You will need to follow posts and posts about what they did and recreate it.

I am telling you, it is not worth it!

Textbook has flashed his xbox1 firmware ( a long time ago ), so he may be able to help you. If not, goto xboxhacker.net, search for the thread and start reading.

just buy a $20 samrtxx lt opx, ive put in a couple. good chips for cheap and they work in all xboxes. like castor said dont bother with firmware on xbox 1

Yeah, it really makes no sense in performing a firmware hack when there are many other options out there that will do the same thing and more. Plus your going to have a hell of a time gathering up the information on it. with little to no support for it, it is definitely not worth it.
