So I tried playing Halo CE and Halo 2 on my 360 today, and when I'd launch them, an error would come up saying, "The game couldn't start. Try downloading the game again."

Errr they're original, non-backup xbox 1 games... Does LT3.0 not support xbox1 games or what? My laser is fine bc it plays all other non-xbox1 games perfectly.

Btw, I have a phat xbox with a LiteOn 02510c drive.

Did you Xbox play them prior to the DVD mod?

I have the same setup and they play fine. Mine is glitched with extra compatibility files though. Some games don't work with the stock xbox1 emulator.

As posted in another thread

There are two methods
1. Place hard hdd in a stock non-modded Xbox.
Format the hdd and log in a live safe profile.
Place xbox1 disk in the drive and try to play it.
It should tell you you need an update to play
Click yes and it will connect to xbl and download/set the files
You should now be able to play the game.

2. Format your hdd(optional if it's already formatted)
Download Xplorer360/partition2/compatabily file
Connect hdd to computer(take it out of case)(may need a via card)
Start up xplorer360(as admin) click Drive-Open-Hardrive
Give it a minute then in the left plane you should see the hdd
There should be partition1or0 and partition3
(at this point going by memory so wording may not be exact)
Click Drive-Restore partition 2, select download partition 2
Now partition 2 should show up in the left plane. Click on it
Now there should be 2 folders in the right plane
Click Edit-Inset folder. Select the downloaded compatabily file
When it asks if you want to overwrite say yes.
Done. Unhook and try in xbox.
If not shut down xploer360 and repeat till it does

A galaxy far far away....

I gave you exactly what you needed and you call me a douche?

first tutorial in the list says

"OK here is a quick tutorial on how to play Xbox 1 games on your Jtag/RGH For this you will need."

had you taken the time to use the search button you would have found this question was just asked and answered a day or so ago

had you taken the time to go to google yourself you would have found the answer to your question

but you had to insult me anyway

I did google it actually, only found sh*t related to RGH/Jtags and hacked compatibility files.

You then gave me a link to Google, implying I cannot search for myself, when in fact, I can.

Why is he a douche? Because he point you exactly what you needed but didn't want to spoon feed you?
Your problem it's not even TX related

Sent from my Galaxy Note using Tapatalk 2
So everything posted in firmware support or any other section on this forum has to do with exactly TX? ha ok that makes sense...

I thought this had to do with LT3.0, so..

LT3.0 = firmware = firmware support

Btw, Mods, this is fixed.

Damn ha I never even asked to get spoon fed sh*t.
Yeah you did. You got a proper reply:

You need the emulated files on the internal hdd to play Xbox1 games
Which you answered with:

err how do i do that? i had a feeling it was something with my hdd cuz i used to mess with it a while back.
The fact that frayed sent you a Google link which gave you how to do it and you then call him a douche for his efforts is icing on the cake. Evidently you can't use Google. Alternatively you could've searched on xbox.com on how to play xbox1 games on the 360 as it's on there too.

Thread closed - I won't issue an infraction this time.
