xbox 2.6, frags when xbox is on

[font=verdana, arial, helvetica]i installed on a 1.6b the xecutor 2.6 ce, everything worked fine, it went into the xecutor splash, and then after screwing in the motherboard, the xbox goes to frag where it powers of then on then off, and then on again where it blinks red and green. This doesnt go away, i checked the 5v power link as the xecutor light doenst even go on. But i dont know what the problem could be.

you must check all your solder points again especially with the rebuild
make sure you have the external swtich connected properly

ok, ive been messing around with it a lot, seems the external switch is connected properly because i am able to switch between mod chip on and off, the problem is most definitely with the 5V, i had the wire wrapped completley around it and it worked but then stopped, the 5v source seems to be bad, is there anywhere else i can get 5V,
anyone ever have this problem ??

It sounds like a bad solder connection seeing that when you screwed down the board it no longer works. So go though and resolder everything just be careful not to over heat any of the traces.

As for your Alternative 5v source not providing proper voltage, if this true than you need to fix this as it will be a problem for the Xbox to even work at all.
