Xbox 200gb hd probs need help please

Ok first off, v1.6 Crystal Xbox, 2.6 chip, M8 bios and maxtor 200gb diamond hard drive, these are the specs I'm working with.

I have installed the chip, flashed the bios, installed evo x onto the 8gb factory drive, ftp'ed all the relevant info that I need and installed the 200gb drive.

All works fine (for a short while) evo x works, xbox works, chip works but I cant get the xbox to read from the disc to the hard drive and when I can get it to work it freezes when loading anything up. This includes games, films, app's, wether it be from disc or hd.

I have done a previous install with a 120gb and (touch wood) had no problems like this and it still works. I am now at the point of pulling my hair out so any help is greatly appreciated.

Get 5035, and reflash with that. It is much more stable and has more features than M8. 5035 is a 512k bios, so there is no need to resize it. Just boot to FlashX or flashbios, and flash. Be sure you use the version of 5035 for the 1.6.

dont know if this is relevent but getting the box to copy from disk to hdd ..dvdtoxbox is really good at doing that ..dont know if this helps but hope you get it fixed
