Hi, I am currently waiting to receive my newly acquired xbox 250 GB Holiday Bundle edition (Halo 4 + Tomb Raider) and would like to RJTAG it, but as of now I do not know yet which drive or motherboard are shipped with that specific model (Probably Corona V4+, and 16ds5). And since it is already hard enough to find the RJTAG kits and the other stuff needed, besides the time it's gonna take to be shipped to me, I thought you guys probably know which drive and board are shipped in that model. Also, I took an extra step and paid a visit to one of the online supplier and put a huge stuff in my shopping Cart (just because I'm confused and don't know which ones I actually need). Below is a list of such stuff, I hope someone can save me some bucks here with a clear advise:

1 Xecuter X-Clamp Removal Tool
2
Xecuter X360USB Pro v1 And CK3i Bundle
3
Xecuter CK3 Probe v3
4
Xecuter J-R Programmer v2
5
Xecuter R-JTAG Starter Kit TX
6
Xecuter CR3 Pro Corona v3 v4 Ultimate Kit
7
Xecuter Nand-X CK3 CK3i Update Cable
8
Xecuter Slim Proto v2 TX
9
Xecuter Lite-On DG-16D5S Unlocked PCB LTU2 TX
10
Xecuter Corona Postfix Adapter TX
11
Xecuter CoolRunner QSB V3 Comms USB Cable
12
Xecuter Corona 4GB RW QSB V4
13
Xecuter CoolRunner QSB Slim Post
14
Maximus Kamikaze Template
15
Xecuter Corona v2 4GB NAND RW Kit
16.
Xecuter Double Shielded Pro Cable Slim

Some of the items were picked just because I felt that I might need them someday, and probably won't be able to find them i.e. Kamikaze template, and some of the QSB (probably for other Xbox models other than the one mentioned above)

Thanks guys for being around to help newbies like myself.

Absolutely - consult anyone advertising on here and they'll advise a cost for you. As mentioned, it would be cheaper than you doing just the one console.

It would...... If I was not in Egypt, but shipping alone would cost as much. Thanks for the advise, that really helped. I think i will go with a demon, coolrunner ( ver. D I guess is required), corona Qsb upgrade, and a multicap. That should work out nicely (at least on the hardware part which I am good at). What do you think?

The CR Rev. D is not a TX product.

If you really want do to this yourself, go with the Slim Proto like playingmax suggested and get the Corona QSB V3 (the upgrade QSB is not required if you use a Slim Proto).

You will also need a POST Fix adapter if the board is a V3 - read this for more information.

Yea, I forgot to mention the adapter, thx for mentioning it. I also came to realize now that Ver. D is a fake. May I ask why you are excluding the demon? Is it because how difficult the install can be or there are other reasons I should know about?

Thanks

Why do you have two threads open on the same subject?

The DemoN is NOT a noob install. It's not recommended for first-timers. Not just because of the soldering, but the setup/configuration. Get it wrong and you render the purpose null and void.

I agree that the install isnt as easy as the coolrunner, but as far as flashing the nand on the demon(Which is what I am assuming is what you mean by "the setup/configuration") is just as easy, if not easier, as using a nand-x/jr-programmer, if you ask me. The only acception to this rule are Big Block Jaspers, which you need the cpu key, which require being glitched/jtaged to create a 16MB nand image to use on it. Since this person is attempting to glitch a Carona, I do not see this being a problem.

Sorry for having the two threads open, I just have nice people in both threads that are replying to my post, and I feel obligated to at least post a reply or a thank you. As for the configuration, I've seen a few videos and it looks pretty much straight forward to me, as most of them are a step-by-step tutorials. I think it all depends on how good is the installation tutorials for the product. I agree with your signature "If you cannot explain something in simple terms...", and when it comes to TX, I do not think anyone can do it better. I really think I can do it, and if not, I will not regret the experience... It's how we all come to learn. I appreciate your concern though, and would not expect less, thank you.

It's really easy to write over your 360 NAND with crap if you don't understand the setup/configuration. Once you do that, no more XBL.

if people read the guides it shouldnt be a problem. I know there are a lot of people who dont read the guides and stickies, but that doesnt mean they are incompetent.

Pro installers read guides before installing anything for the first time. Nuff said. Kindly argue with someone who doesn't know what they're talking about.
