I tried to reflow my HANA chip and Southbridge so that I can fix the E74 error. When I was reflowing I spent about 3 seconds on each chip to prevent any damage. But however a capacitor
near the HANA chip blew and smoke came out.
So I cleaned up the area and removed any remains. I let the motherboard cool down and went to try it out. But now it won't even start up. My power brick is orange and I checked the console and it still won't even start. No green lights or red lights. I guessing that the capacitor did that but it could be possible that it's either the HANA or the southbridge. I didn't touch the CPU or the GPU because I wanted to see if the HANA was causing me issues. Please note that this is my main console that I use regularly. Can anyone tell me any other steps I can take to find the root of the problem I would extremely appreciate it. I don't have the money right now to purchase any capacitors right now so I wouldn't consider it a suggestion. I was thinking maybe to warp the console in foil and then attempt to reflow it and be extra careful this time. I also think that either the Southbridge or HANA got detached during my reflow. It was a pretty small cap,and yet the console doesn't even boot. Like I said before I don't have money so I can't purchase any caps or transistors.
Thank you for reading this and have a great day
Note: this isn't my board,I got this from Google images to show you the cap I was talking about, only one of them blew.
