Hello I have an xbox 360 with no dvd drive. xenon chipset. How do I figure out what kind of drive matches the console? I am using x360usb pro v2 with Molar to USB on my laptop. Let me know if there is some way to tell what kind of drive will match the motherboard

Waukegan IL.
If you have the ofw from the drive that was inside there then use jungleflasher if not , dump the nand and get the cpu key. Use jrunner or 360 flash tool to decrypt the nand. Basically follow the rgh for xenon.

If you are getting play dvd then the key is wrong, you will have to rgh it to get the key. Probably not worth it though as xenon's are a pain in the ass to even get them to glitch. Id chuck it if I were you and get a newer model that has at least hdmi.

Best Choice. When I buy Xboxs with disc read errors I actually replace the drive with a new one, using the dvd key on the drive that's in there, if I get the "Play DVD" error, I already know its not worth buying for a good price, I pay $20 or less for the entire console, I can make about $60 or more from the parts. If I decide to keep the console (rare) I will have to Jtag/RGH it to get the dvdkey, then re-sell the console.

I can give you $20 for it, I do not pay shipping however.
