Hi

I tried to connect the drive to the usb on back .. No change

I dont think it's a problem of power because i trying to connect a ssd drive , his power is low and has remained the same problem

I have another console corona v2 lt-u there when I plug the drive is properly turns on

Well the problem is obviously something to do with the usb port, usb cable or usb HDD you are using.

I've been repairing xbox 360 consoles for almost 10 years and usually when a "STOCK" console is doing something like this its a short on the USB.

The main cause is forcibly incorrectly inserting a USB device/cable into the port, thus damaging the port and causing the pins to short, in this case the xbox 360 slim will beep when you press power or eject but it will not attempt to turn the console on, this is its way of protecting parts inside from burning out, it happens the exact same way on the phats too, except phats have actual buttons and no beep, so it seems like the is no power at all.

Since you seem to have good ports, as your console powers on when nothing is plugged in, it would be fair to point the blame on your usb cable or usb HDD, not the HDD itself, but the enclosure circuit.

I'm assuming you have got data on this HDD, so it works fine on a PC, correct?

If that is the case then we have a catch 22, we have confirmation the USB HDD is not causing the short, because it works on a PC, but we also have confirmation it causing a short on the xbox.

Have you tried another USB HDD on the xbox?

I have used portable drives on many many xbox 360s and never had an issue, although I do not recommend it because it using the console to power the HDD, it should not be causing this issue, it should still work.

I'd like to add I have no experience using a demon, since the demon does use data circuits too it may also have something to do with it, but like I said, no experience with demon, so if someone that knows says its not the demon, they're probably right :)

Hey thanks for the detailed response

The drive work excellent on my computer and i have data on him
As shown in the video thr drive is recognized by the console and I can access the files on the drive.
The video also showed wrote another drive with a different model with the same problem.
I I tried several cables and no change.
I do not think that the usb connection short because of the problem happens no matter what connection I connector.
And I connect the drive to another console is not rgh
turn on with no problem

I'm sorry for my bad english

Really thanks for the help

Sorry, I didn't watch the video til the end, I saw the error and jumped the gun.

That really is weird, try cleaning the usb ports and the cable you are using, I've often used the same cable on different devices and one will work perfectly and one will just plain out not work, I usually turn off the device and get a cotton swap, hit the end a few times to flatten it, then dip it in at least 70% alcohol and clean the ports, just poke it on the big side and rub abit and try and connect it again. see what happens.

That's pretty bizzare.
