Xbox 360 Date?

I just wanted to know if there is a date set for relese of the 360.

They say Holiday season 2005... they'd have to be between November 15 and no later than December 15 to get the optimal buying frenzy...

I can't wait to stand in line for one when their in short supply, like the playstation 2 was, and then turn around and sell it to one of the suckers that didn't get one for a $1,000. Hehehe.

I would guess November 15th, as that was the release date of the original Xbox.

I think early november is a good bet. Especially as all the retailers are putting the ETA for games as 1/11/05 (british date formatting... the proper way... lol)

Seems a tad late, IMO, for them to just be starting the wireless network gaming and game pad... I guess we'll see when November comes around.

alot of those sort of press releases are que'd up and waiting for release.. I am fairly certain that the controller/wireless design was nailed down before the E3/MTV presentation .. but they couldnt very well announce that they had been chosen as the Wireless provider before we "officially" where informed that the console would have wireless controllers.

You will have to pre-order the Xbox 360 if you are thinking in getting it this year. I already pre-order my system at Game Crazy, They only had 3 pre-orders with mine included. If you wait until October when microsoft reveals the price for the xbox 360 it might be to late because people for some reason wait to see whats going to be the price before pre-ordering it.The systems will be sold out just like when the ps2 came out. If you dont get an xbox 360 by this year you will probably have to wait until march or april to get one. Same thing will be with the freaking Ps3
