TX Product(s) used: Slim Proto V2; Corona Postfix Adapter V2
Console Type: Corona
NAND size: 16GB
Dashboard version: 2.0.16537.0
CB version: 9188
Screenshot of NAND details from J-Runner:

J-Runner log:
Not available
Image of Coolrunner:
As below
Images of close-up soldering to motherboard:

Description of problem:

Where do I begin? A couple of tracks were damaged and repaired (track indicated by arrow in picture). The headers are there because of problems with soldering/desoldering --- seems the xbox is MUCH MORE flimsy (cheap!) built comparred to phat. (that QSB has also been removed)

At the moment, the slim proto board's red light comes on - green blinks once. No HDMI output. Dip switched on the board is 3 and 8 ON, rest OFF. Also, the fan goes off, but front light keeps being on even when I switch it off???

Sorry for the vague description, I have been at this now for nearly 24 hours!

Was the console working before you started: Yes

OK, so did the following:

Removed slim proto v2 - reflashed with stock nand - unit boots up without problem. flashed with ECC again, and resoldered slim proto v2. Still not booting... playing around with the dip switches, but doesn't look like it's helping..

Try booting the system with everything soldered in but no power to the proto (red 5v) just disconnect it and tape the end to prevent arching. it should just boot regular. if and when it does go ahead attach the wire and create your ecc and then write it to the Nand

I noticed I had some troubles with the post fix adapter where I did not get any display through HDMI as well until I solder the post fix adapter, then it worked just fine.

Ok the following::

1. pulled the power of protov2; no booting
2. reflashed stock nand (kept all wires connected, EXCEPT POWER of protov2); booted
3. connected power of protov2; no booting again (no hdmi output - green light again just quickly flashed once on button is pressed --- green light I an referring to is LED2 on the slim proto v2)

I didt see it in the pictures but where is your cpu_rst soldered to?
and are you sure that jumpers r2c6 and r2c7 are bridged??
cpu_rst (blue wire) is soldered to: FT3T10

Yellow wire is on 50 on postfix v2

Resistors r2c6, c7, c10 soldered

Managed to lift c6 (I think) 's tracks - but repaired it looping to the 'other' side where it is leading when joined - I hope this explanation is sufficient?resistors.jpg

Also, once slim proto v2 has power, and I click on the '?' in JRunner to identify the board - it gets this::

Checking Console..
Version: 03
Flash Config: 0x00043000
00043000
Corona
CB Version: 9188
Trinity

PRIOR to ECC flashing, both are 'Corona'

Update.

I've decided to basically REDO the whole RGH setup. I've flashed back stock nand, and made sure it starts up. Indeed, it does.

I've removed ALL wires.

I've removed ALL the pin headers; cleaned up as far as I could; repaired R2C6, bridged R2C10 and R2C7 as well

Postfix adapter was damaged previously when taking it off; so only one mounting point is used (the mounting point's little copper squared thingies came off). The following:

Yellow - anchoring point
Red - 'broken' anchoring point
Pink - pin has been desoldered and placed again, as the postfix board was too loose. There are no soldering points connecting this 'thing' to circuitry - is that normal????

just dont do system updates from usb except the one for avatar and kinect update data, theres a sticky on how to do it. I know those updates can update bootloaders and burn efuses.
