OK, again an update.
Below the alternate point for the blue wire.

The yellow wire:

On the yellow wire, you'll notice 2 wires. One is taped, in order to avoid it making contact with other points on the motherboard. Purpose is to be able to install the heatsink/crossclamp and everything in the case and still be able to tweak the RGH if needed.
To my surprise, booting is 90% on 1st glitch, with VERY SELDOM MAXIMUM of 4th glitch prior to being able to boot.
So to summarise - the only hardware used was:
Slim Proto V2
AND
PostFix
That was it. Easier actually than it started out to be.
Other problem I have been facing is problems getting the xbox to recognise a BRAND NEW 2TB USB external (USB3) --- found the problem to be the following:
Newly formatted partition MUST be marked as PRIMARY - seems this was the culprit. All the reading/browsing, seems nobody figured this out - or it isn't documented very well --- perhaps it can be made into a sticky?
Used a program called EaseUs partition manager:::: http://www.easeus.com/
