there is another team that has a dualnand chip, that is just a nand chip, on a circuit board. you can easily install it as a dual nand, and move/replace the resistors. Chip only costs 10$. Problem is if the console is a winchester, the only way to get it fixed would be to send it to microsoft, as you cant get the cpu_key to create the 16mb nand image. if it is a corona then you should be able to. You will need to dump the 4gb nand first, then remove the resistors, then install the 16mb nand chip that you buy, and flash xell to it with SPI reader, which will be tricky, as there isnt an SMC on the chip, so you will have to do a bad flash recovery, which involves shorting some pins on the nand, when you plug in the power, so it loads the SMC built into the southbridge. Then you can flash ecc to get CPU key via SPI, and install the glitch chip, to boot xell, then you can decrypt the 4gb image with the cpu_key, and create a new retail 16mb image, and flash that to the nand. You can do this with a flash drive and xell. Once the image is flashed, you can remove the glitch chip, and spi wiring, and postfix adapter.
