GENERAL Xbox 360 elite 1tb or 500gb upgrade possible?

Xbox 360 elite 1tb or 500gb upgrade possible? I know I will need a new elite hard drive casing and obviously a 500gb or 1tb 2.5 inch SATA drive. My other question if is it does work what thickness drive do I need?

nope not for rgh just general use

It has to be an official xbox 360 HDD if u r using it in a retail console. I believe 320gb is the biggest. U can use any size HDD up to 2tb in a rgh/jtag xbox.

There is a 500gb HDDSS out there, but the source is unknown.

It does work however.

I just upgraded my stock Xbox 360 pro xenon with a 2.5" Western Digital 500GB drive last week. Works great, but it only works with a limited number of drives, so do your homework!
