Xbox 360 Hard Drive Replacement

I've been having trouble cloning the original Xbox 360 hard drive to a new one, the hard Drive I want to use is a Seagate Momentus XT 500GB, and when I plug the orignal Xbox 360 HD into my computer the cloning programs say "unallocated" or "Not Initalized" can sombody please help me?

Sure if you're on windows you need to open "disk management" and you should see your disk stating uninitialized/unallocated, simply initialize the disk and format it with a given partition (ntfs for internal 360 storage, fat32 for external)

If you're attempting to do this with a retail xbox 360, it won't work. But if your xbox 360 is RGH'd the replacement should drop in just fine :]
