Xbox 360 HDD problem

I have a problem with my hdd (Xbox original hitachi 5k250-120),from first boot it didn`t worked...(I hear it spining but isn`t recognized by xbox) so I put it at pc and i saw that is working so i formated it much diferent ways(yeah...I`m an big idiot)...i want to know if there is a way to repair it?(works to write\read with PC but xbox is powering it up but is not recognizing it...)

It wont work in your xbox again that's for sure as you formatted and erased the hss.bin.

It will work in a JTAG or RGH console but other than that you now have a new 2.5" HDD for you comp!

The XBOX 360 uses standard 2.5" drives which are "modified" with a security sector and if you wipe this security sector from the drive, you won't be able to use it on a retail console.

A slim hard drive can be used in a phat console if it is removed from the caddy and fitted in to a phat HDD caddy (and vice versa to use a phat hard drive in a slim console).

As RED IMPACT and Martin said, you can use the hard drive in a JTAG/RGH console (the security sector requirement is removed from JTAG/RGH images).
