hello guys,, i got an offer of xbox 360 jasper jtagged 512mb model at about $155.. the problem is with the hard drive.. i want to know if i can attach my 250gb external HDD ( which i use for my laptop)..??? because i will buy it only if i can attach external HDD with it..

you sure brother.?? so i can buy that and use my external HDD on that? and i am on doubt because i've heard that xbox 360 jasper 512mb model just supports upto 16gb of external HDD but i am not sure thats why posting here and asking the experts..

Any external hdd formatted to fat32 up to 2tb can be used on a rgh/jtag xbox 360.
If you format it and plug in to the USB you can install your games on it but dlc has to go in a xbox formatted internal HDD

dlc=downloadable content for games such as map packs,xbla=xbox live arcade,those are smaller games indie games that you can buy off marketplace on live.dlc has to go to internal hdd,xbla can go to external
and 1 more thing please.. someone said to me that it wont play latest games like COD Ghost, Battlefield 4 etc because its an old model.. is it really true or just a brag.?? please help me out.. i'll be really thankful..

the model dont determine this,the system update or dashboard its on does,and all of them can be updated to play any game.
well thanks a lot brother.. 1 last thing.. can i download games via internet on this jtagged xbox 360 model.??

Downloading games is piracy which is not supported here, If it wasnt a jtag, and had a dual nand, you could bye games from Xbox Live, and then download them and it would be perfectly ok to talk about here. it is a matter of the way you worded the question.
FSD plays my xbla games just fine from a 2tb fat32 formatted usb drive, the must be in content/0000000000000000 before fsd & xm360 can see them.
i doubt he is that far along morinzo. you need to do some searching to find out what you want to know. its a don't ask don't tell kind of question here. search your web browser for (WHAT CAN AN RGH OR JTAG DO)
and it doesn't have to be internal hdd for your DLC to play on it but it has to be formatted by the xbox (16 gigabytes)
so you would have to format the drive into 2 partitions i believe and one would be fat32 and the other 16 gigs FATX i believe i cant remember what the xbox format is. search for it...

heh,always ran buggy for me so i stuck with internal for install data and dlc,but xbla never had an issue.and it formats 32 gb nowi doubt he is that far along morinzo.
