xbox 360 problem red light

someone is selling a a xbox 360 slim. when i turn it on the red light stays on the faceplate.. it doesnt show the 4 green lights around the centre before boot like how it normally shud. but the funny thing the xbox comes on and goes to the dashboard.
Second thing is the prongs for the controller one usb is bent...

should i buy it?
