XBOX 360 SLIM DVD KEY EXTRACTION

Hello All I want to extract the DVD Drive Key. I did a lot of research and I think I know the answer but here it goes.

XBOX 360 Manufactured: 2012 - 08 - 09
DVD Drive: Lite on 16D5S 1532 (I have not opened the Xbox to look, I am guessing)
MOBO: Corona v6 (guesS)

I want to install x key.

So far what I have read has been all over the place for me.

Can I use XBOX 360 USB Pro to extract the DVD Key and then install the x key?

I am trying to avoid J-TAG/RGH (I can pay someone to do it but the person isn't sure if the Xbox will support it).

Is it true that RGHing blocks a user from accessing XBOX LIVE?

Well that was quick. Thanks guys. Appreciate your help. I know where to find the tutorial to RGH it. I suppose I will make my way there. Any recommendations on the best tutorial to follow?

To answer your other question, no you can't go on live (at least not without getting banned) with an RGH but it can always be removed and the system returned to stock after you get the key.
