Hello, I have a dead xbox 360 slim turns on, no video, led goes from green to flashing red. anyway I purchased a replacement motherboard from ebay that came with a DVD pcb. so it arrived and my mistake is its a different board model from the dead one, so anyway it came with a chassis so i just moved the screws and the fan, the sata hdd connector for power is not the same as the dead one so i didnt connect it. I then disassembled the dvd drive, removed the old pcb, soldered the wires to the replacement and connected all the cables back closed it and connected to the board. when i switch it on now, the cpu fan turns but I get no video via HDMI, and the light turns from green to non flashing red after 5 secs. can someone please point out where i went wrong? I attached photos of the old and replacement board.

It's a Trinity board and a Corona board.None of them have the original nandflash(the xbox 360 os). Those are fixable by RGH, will stay in RGH mode(hacked os).Better find a pro to fix them, it's not so easy.

Hi alex, both are untouched boards well the dead board im sure was never hacked, and the one off of ebay, the seller said was also unhacked. anyway. if the replacement board was never hacked and if it paired with the replacement dvd pcb in general would work right???

Should work fine, sounds like you either bought a dud or maybe there is an issue with your power supply.

 I hope its not a dud, the seller wrote tested and working, anyway if I did an RGH with this board is there a possibility that it will work?

You need to get it working as stock before you do anything.

Did u check the motherboard before you started messing with things? Make sure no USB port pins are shorted...

nope its a different seller
Ah ok. I got screwed over by that guy. Sent me 3 jaspers, 1 red ring, 1 no power, and 1 that was banned and had damaged caps... Got my money back though, just open a not as described case and you'll get a refund one way or another. Ebay always settles disputes in buyers favor 99.9% of the time.
