by any chance did you do the heat gun method on a winbound chip? just wen you said completely burned it sounds like the heatgun method to remove chip

same problem happened to me :facepalm:
i tried to do the kamikaze method to get the key, and when i was preparing the tools for it the power strip on on/off button moved which caused the xbox to go on and off for 3 or 4 times and then the dvd player just wont respond any more "dead" i guess it caused a power short. :crazy:
today i took it to a shop in town and the tech there told me he cannot read from the pcb and the only way to get the key is to get it from the xbox's motherboard

so xbox experts if you think there is any other way to do it or any good advice please do asap, and i just bought the new xcuter jungle mega tool pack, so if i need any other stuff please let me know
