Hello a friend of mine have an xbox slim and now its a dead ! he called his friend and he bring him his xbox slim too and when he pluged the xbox of his friend it's end up dying too. He bring them to me to check them and i try a different ps and no luck ! i try to replace the rf board and no luck too ! I had a bad slim with red dot and i used his power supply and it ended up too . No sound , no light nothing ! The problem was this ps that is putting to death these console ! The one that was with red dot i don't even tried to power it on as i see the orange light of the ps blinking down but still the red dot now is with no sign of power ! so there is no usb short ! sorry for my english hope someone can help me fix this

Hi i have one opened but i don't see any blown caps ! or could be the port where you put the ps is fried or maybe something else ! Usb and hdmi im 100% sure on them because this is the 3rd xbox not showing sign of power with this faulty power supply !
well considering the value of what xbox 360 slims are now worth a lot of people would say it's not worth the work that would need going into it to repair it as it could be so many different problems bad cap, yes i know you say you checked, also bad mosfet(s) plus many other items supplying current on the board, however the problem at hand as you mentioned in your post is his power supply has killed 2 consoles and a red dot motherboard of yours that you tested. bottom line is its not worth throwing money at them perhaps to learn on yes.
Yes i know what are you saying ! But why you throw 2 xbox for a bad mosfets ! i posted here maybe someone from the forum has pass from this fix before and lead me to the mosfets or anything to bring them back to live ! for an easy fix i will try to fix them !
yes you could replace mosfets and see how it goes but remember that you cannot test mosfets while they are on the board you have to remove them to test unless you have specific equipment designed to check them on the board. good luck with them hope you manage to sort them and perhaps more members may come along and help further.
Hi think its a pain to fix this i went to other website people have the same problem but no one has a good answer for it !
