HI guys -
I bought a Xbox 360 slim (Corona model) from the local shop for cheap. When i got home, i plugged in the power cable & HDMI and fired up the unit. There is no video, or audio from the HDMI connection. I also tried this with the A/V video connection (video, audio left/right). No luck. The console has been opened by the previous owner. I have no idea what they did to it, but i can't complain too much since it was dirt cheap for something to play with - $5!
Instead of directly jumping to any need for a CPU/GPU reflow, I'd like to find out if a blank flash would cause the same symptoms of only seeing a green dot (no red dot, no green rings when you start up). I have a NAND-X from when i was working on the Phat consoles and plan to hook it up to the slim tomorrow to dump the existing nand, but I'd like to get an idea if the NAND-X dump process is worth executing, or if i should just directly reflow?
Thank you in advance!
