Hello everyone...I am pretty nooby when it comes to xbox360 hardware stuff so pardon my ignorance..I gave my xbox360E to someone to get it hacked..I had no idea at that time what rgh or jtag etc were..Ever since I got it hacked , it boots after about half an hour when I first turn it on and then it will boot normally within a minute the rest of the day...But the next day it'll again take about half an hour to boot up..Is it bad soldering?..I have posed pictures of my motherboard..Please someone help...And lemme know if i can solve this issue by myself or not.

Open the console and upload some pics, also you can talk to the guy you got it from.

i have had consoles have had cold boot times before but I never wait a half an hour. Most of the time if it hasn't booted with in say 8 flashes just turn it off, wait for it to power down completely and turn it back on.

See if that helps with the cold boots.

How long have you had this console? If it's been a long while there has been a lot of advancements made to improve boot times. Back in the day we were lucky to achieve 30second boot times and it wasn't uncommon to see 1minute boot times from people who didn't take the time to tweak of tune the install.

Photos would be helpful to possibly make suggestion on improving your boot times but you'll Likely require soldering skills or ever the tools for programming.

Never mind that because I see you have a 360e. Those weren't around back in the day so this has to be a pore install.

i have uploaded pictures , they are from my onedrive links so you probably have to right click and open in a new tab...I'd be grateful if you take a look at soldering..

Sorry I didn't see the images because I'm on my phone and the boxed are small and hard to see.

My first guess is a poor quality chip. I'm not even sure what that glitch chip is. I don't see where you program the chip either.

Those will just likely have to be the boot times you will get with a chip like that. Only other option is to have the chip upgraded. Easy enough to do because all the wires are there already.
The installers soldering is moderate at best. I'd say said individual is making progress but still has some learning to do. A little flux would make a big improvement. All the joints are dull and dried up.
The cold joints could cause problems with boot times but I'm still pointing at that glitch chip.

It's a x360run chip...I kinda had the idea that he did a poor job but then it boots almost instantly the whole day , just not the first time I do it after a night's break..Anyways, so what can I do to improve the timing..You suggested a little flux and upgrading ..Pardon me for being a noob but what exactly do i achieve what you suggested ...Thanks for bearing with me.

Just remove that crap, that modchip will burn your console, 96 MHz is a insane speed for that CPLD, but it's a cheap alternative isn't it?

It's called x360run because when installers send the console back they better run

So I should just remove it?...and it'll unmod the 360? I guess maybe it's not that simple from what I've seen on the internet...

oopz.... My bad... :(
Anyways... any other option ???
no,period.do you honestly think we would go to the trouble of soldering if their were soft mod options? use your brain man!
and its certain almost that you have a winchester, had playingmax took 3 more sec to read he would have told ya that too,and its not moddable!
