I'm getting nothing but could not detect a flash controller errors on the 7th xbox I've jtagged. All were done within the past 48 hours third one today.

COmputer is exactly the same every last part of my setup is exactly the same the nandx suddenly just isn't working! I moved onto trying another xbox and rewired it about 10 times each on 2 different systems.

Is there anything on the nand x itself that can breakdown?

You made sure the power supply is connected during the attempts? Did you try to reset the NAND-X by pressing the black button on top?

Check the connector's cable that plug into the NAND-X and the other ends @ the xbox side. If all ok, try un-installing the NANd-X USB drivers and then installing them again.

Of course the power supply is plugged in
that black reset button doesn't seem to do anything at all

I have every single wire soldered in directly.. I clipped the ends off both of the supplied wiring methods and wired each of them into a different xbox

I've reinstalled drivers and tried doing it on my laptop and desktop

All with the same end results not reading anything at all...

the only time ive had this was once and my soldering was crap. i removed the qsb and used the pin header and dumped the nand fine.

im not saying your solderings crap but be sure its 100% perfect.

also this error can be caused by not installing the drivers properly.

There are two lights on the Nand-X, one Red and one Yellow. Do both turn on when you connect the Nand-X through USB or only one of them does ?

both of the lights turn on, whenever it is plugged in it always has the 2 lights on,
ive had another look at the solder points on the 3 xbox's on 1 of them i think ive burnt out a solder point where the green wire goes so im trying to find a alt point for that,
but the soldering on the other 2 look good, i forgot to say im using the pin headers :(

ive just been looking at that great post, but it does'nt cover the j2b1 points (the 2 at the side of the board) which are the one's i need any help would be great.

update

ive cleaned the board and had another look and it looks like ive cut the trace on the bottom of the board cuming from the j2b1 point (where the green wire goes coming from the nandx
is there another point from that or could i use condutive glue to repair the trace ?

I signed up just to reply to this, but I am getting the exact same error. Now I have flashed about 35 360's now and it was starting to give me an error about ARM controller, but I would continue to enter the command to read the nand in cmd prompt nandpro usb: -r16 nand.bin and eventually it would finally read.

Now it is just saying the same thing over and over and this is on 5 different 360's I have set up to jtag. I know this isint my soldering because my personal jtag with a pin header wont dump either. It is not soldering job, its a problem with nandx itself.

Where do we go for warranty? Where we bought it from? Because I am positive its the nandx and not my solder job, since I have a ltp cable set up with the same pin header set up and they read just fine.

Soooo, where do I go to get a new one?
