Everytime I try to read my backups through xbox backup creator, I get this error at around 3% when it looks for the security sector. "Invalid security sector detected" and I can abort retry or ignore. This doesn't happen when i read my originals, but I dont have the original of one of my backups anymore because it became ruined when I switched the 360 from horizontal to vertical. So when I stick in my backup for it to read so i can back it up, I get this my log:

Re: Xbox back up creator ERROR : Invalid Security Sector Det

XBC 2.3 does not support reading from backups. If you update to 2.4 you should be able to extract the game partition as an iso and then patch the dmi.bin, ss.bin and pfi.bin files in.

Edit - Even though 2.4 added this feature I'm pretty sure this is still a grey area as far as whether or not it can be discussed here. ;)

Lets not discuss making or trying to make backups of backups read the rules.

You will not get support here.
